Terms and Conditions
- 1. Eligibility:
- Low Speed: Renters must be at least 16 years old and have a valid government-issued ID
- High Speed: Renters must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and government-issued ID.
- 2. KYC:
Customers must present a government-issued ID (PAN Card+ Aadhar Card) along with a local address proof to book or rent a bike from Hala. - 3. Operational Hours:
Vehicles must be picked up and dropped off at the designated Hala hubs/swap stations between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Monday-Saturday). - 4. Security Deposit and Refund (SD):
- The SD will be refunded upon request, to the original payment method within 7 business days after the vehicle is returned in good condition to one of the Hala representatives.
- The SD will be forfeited, and the customer may incur additional costs if there is damage to the vehicle and any fines for violations.
- 5. Return and Responsibility:
- • You are required to return the vehicle in good condition at the end of your rental period.
- • If the vehicle incurs any damage during the rental period, the customer will be liable to cover all associated costs.
- • If the vehicle is returned due to any issue with it and identified immediately after receiving it, the customer is eligible for a full refund/replacement with the next available vehicle.
- • If the customer is returning for any other reason, then they are liable to pay the rental amount for the period blocked.
- • If the customer does not return the vehicle within the time frame mentioned at the time of booking or keeps the vehicle for more than 12 hours from the time of booking, a cost of INR 100 per hour will be charged.
- • If the vehicle is not returned by the end of the rental period and if there is no acknowledgement or response from the customer within 48-hours, Hala reserves the right to file an FIR.
- 6. Ownership of Vehicles:
Hala Mobility India Pvt. Ltd exclusively owns all vehicles. Any unauthorized sale of a vehicle, battery, charger, or other equipment will result in legal action. - 7. Safety Precautions:
- Customers should follow all safety guidelines and obey traffic rules during their ride.
- Please wear your helmet when riding the vehicle.
- 8. Personal Data Protection:

All Hala vehicles come with insurance coverage. If an accident or emergency occurs, please reach out to customer support right away.
